Kupe of the Māori (Civilization VI: Gathering Storm)

Kupe is one of my favorite Civ leaders that I've ever had the chance to design. I had a lot of back and forth with our animators and rigging department regarding his clothing and features because we wanted him to have some fairly extreme and expressive movements. The most amazing thing is that for his final design we had a tattoo artist named Arekatera “Katz” Maihi design his facial tattoos!
